Don’t miss out on Missguided

I have mentioned them a few times, but i love love love Missguided! They are brilliant! I love pretty much everything they have on their site! Not sure I would ever wear anything covered in lemons but that doesn’t mean I don’t like it!

I have picked out a few treats from below for your viewing pleasure!

I love this skirt and vest combo! The colours together are fantastic… perfect for the heat wave which is apparently on our way next week!

This is a perfect top for me… in fact I might have to buy it come payday!

Love these…

I love this whole outfit but particularly the top!

These are a must have for me, first payday purchase guaranteed!

I love these A LOT, however once again I am far too tall for them :-( sob sob

Annie Leibovitz captures Kate moss

So what is your favouite picture of one of the worlds most photographed women?

It should come as no surprise that the photographer for mine is Annie Leibovitz and here it is…

One of main things I love about this is Marc Jacobs dress that she is wearing! Lush and so so elegant! Lets face it, Kate Moss would look good in a bin bag but for me so looks so normal but yet striking this is what wins me over.

I believe that this was taken for the May 2009 issue of Vogue

More updates on my fashion favourites coming up!

Husky Hat

Not two words you would usually see together Husky Hat… but I have been obsessed with this one from Spirit Hoods at Hervia Bazaar

Yes I know it may not be everyone’s taste and at £102 pounds it’s a lot of money for hat! But trust me, my money situation, or lack there of is the only reason I haven’t bought one… that and the fact it’s coming into spring!

I have the best mum in the world – no really, I am not just biased, she is. She would never… ever approve of me spending so much money on a hat but she always wants me to have what I want… so… from the bottom of her heart she bought me a husky hat… she gave it me with a smirk on her face and a statement of “now I know it’s not quite right”

I actually love it and it’s REALLY soft… I might not wear it other than when I am on a walk and no one will see me but Matt… but… well… I think I look pretty darn cute in it! haha

Do you like my new hat?

New Purchase

Hello all.

Sorry I have been a bit absent I have been trying to avoid spending money so have been avoiding all shops as I have NO will power not to spend!

Proof of this… after my recent leather love post (which you can see here) I really wanted to find something more cost-effective than the Reiss jacket which I have fallen in love with. I came across this lovely jacket at Warehouse for the bargain price of £55!

It obviously isn’t leather for that price but it’s lovely and soft and has a very nice matte finish.

If you want to buy it too click here

I don’t think these photo’s do it justice, so as I am hoping to start to find time to do outfits posts I will take another photo of this one for you and post it back up!

It’s a lovely lovely thing!

Fashion fate

You’ve walked down every isle… Looked on every shelf… The shoes that you saw online are not there… They’re just not there! This is so annoying you came especially… They looked like they could be perfect! You see ‘the others’ the ones you saw first but then discarded immediately on sight of the shoes you came for. Might as well try them on you think to yourself. You look for your size… Hang on… Can it be… There is one pair… Just one pair of the shoes you came looking for… Oh and… Oh my god… They’re my size. Your heart skips a little with excitement… You pick them up quickly in case some one else tries to take them from you. You hunt down a mirror… Time to try them on… Please be comfy…oh… Oh oh oh… They… Are… Perfect! YES.
This is Fashion Fate… You have to buy these items… It’s essential!
Here they are my fate shoes!

Happy 200th Birthday Charles Dickens

Charles John Huffam Dickens  was born on 7 February 1812 , he passed away on the 9 June 1870 at the tender age of 58. He was an English novelist, generally considered the greatest of the Victorian period. Dickens enjoyed a wider popularity and fame than had any previous author during his lifetime, and he remains popular, having been responsible for some of English literature’s most iconic novels and characters. For that, the least we can do it wish him a happy birthday!

It was a quote by Freddie Mercury helped name this blog:

“I want to live the Victorian life, surrounded by exquisite clutter.” ― Freddie Mercury

I am very fond of the kinder side of Victorian Life and Dickens is a part of that for me. A year still doesn’t go by that I don’t watch or read A Christmas Carol!

Here is a little tribute to Dickens and Victorian Fashions
